April 2012 Club Meeting
The April 2012 meeting of the ACARC was held at Cape Fear Community College, North Campus. Vice President Don Hall(N4OFF ) open the meeting at 7:00PM.Each person in attendance introduced themselves and told about their last months radio activities.
Allan Pellnat(KX2H) gave the treasures report.Congratulations went out to Julian Bradberry(WD4FTR) our newest extra class license holder! Well done Brad. We had 7 guest operators on the ship with another crew coming in next week. Plans for Museum Ships weekend in June were discussed.
David McGough(KB4FXC) gave an interesting presentation on constructing simple circuit boards.
VP Don Hall adjourned the meeting at 8:30pm .

March 2012 Club Meeting
The March meeting of acarc was held at CFCC north campus . President Charlie Vaughn (K4UWH) called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Each person in attendance introduced themselves and commented on their recent ham radio activity. Allan Pellnat(KX2H) treasure gave his treasure report. Bill Morrine(N2COP) reported a bill was passed in congress for the FCC to investigate emergency ham operations and HOR (home owners restrictions) A film presentation of the first ham broadcast from the new country of South Sudan, ST0R, dxpedition in 2011 was given by president Vaughn. There being no other business the meeting was adjourned at 8:00 pm.

February 2012 Club Meeting
The Febuary 2012 acarc meeting was held atr Cape Fear Community College north campus on Feb 21 at 7:00 pm.
President Charlie Vaughn(K4UWH) called the meeting to order. Each individual present introduced themselves. Allan Pellnat(KX2H) gave the treasures report.
This coming Sunday, Feb 26 from noon to 10:00 pm will be the North Carolina QSO party on the battleship. Everyone is needed in order to man 3 stations.
A discussion came up concerning the advantage of using log book of the world instead of mailing qsl cards. President Vaughn gave a short explanation on how to tune certain antennas. There being no other business the meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.

Jan.2012 Club Meeting
The monthly meeting of the Azalea Amateur Radio Club was held on January 17, 2012 at Cape Fear Community College north campus. President Charlie Vaughn (K4UWH) called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Each ham in attendance introduced themselves and reported on any radio activity going on with them.
Allan Pellnat (KX2H) gave the treasures report and a budget for 2012. A motion was made to approve the budget and it passed.
North Carolina QSO party will be held on Febuary 26,2012 on the battleship. Saturday Febuary 11, 2012 , is the next VE testing to be at Cape Fear Community College.
David McGough (KB4FXC) gave a presentation on how to turn CB radios into a workable ham radio. There being no more business president Charlie Vaughn(K4UWH) adjourned the meeting at 8:30 pm.
